I'm not preppy, rocker, metalhead, straight edge, introvert, extrovert, party animal, party pooper, or indie. But I have qualities that you will find in each group. First I would like to start off saying i am a sports fanatic. I can not get enough. I love being able to sit down and watch whatever kind of game is on tv. well were do i start. I am a full time college student. my major is art with a minor in graphic design. I am more of the shy type. I never really know what to say to people. First things first, I am dyslexic so English 101 is not my strong suit. I know enough to realize that I am not perfect and laugh at myself quite a lot.

I think the most dominant parts of my personality (as best as I can tell) is that I have a sensitive funny bone, and that I've got a very, very long fuse. Almost everything makes me laughs or entertains me, and almost nothing will get me angry.

I can be overwhelmingly honest, especially about myself, and I have a tendency to let my brain leak out of my mouth unchecked. I am essentially without filter, but at least I know my intentions are always known without misunderstanding despite whatever hindrances it's brought me.

I've moved four times in the past three years, through a series of locations that eerily matches my early childhood. This feels like fishing...I've got a really dry and sarcastic sense of humor that can be misleading at times...I see humor in most situations and like to laugh and make others laugh. Because on the other side of the gender coin this behavior is completely kosher and even applauded.

I am a transplant from Pennsylvania and still don't know all the good places to hang out at right now. How I got here is actually a fairly long story. I moved away from PA to try and start a new life as the small town I used to live in is very quickly dying. Of course everyone I meet always asks the same question, "Why did you move here?" Trust me, its better than PA.

I was born and raised in Texas, for the most part I've been here my whole life. When I was younger my family traveled all around the East Coast a bit. We had the trip of a lifetime to Italy when I was 13, I am going to go back someday. I've been to Israel with the Marine Corps for training, but we were able to take a few tours while we were there. It was amazing as well! I was home schooled all the way through High School. Loved to play sports during that time, especially basket ball! I also achieved the rank or Eagle in scouting my senior year. Enlisted in the Marine Corps in March of '07, it's a blast and it sucks all at the same time. I have to say that Cali is a beautiful state! That's were I did my basic and occupational training at (MCRD San Diego, and Camp Pendleton). I love Jesus! Serving Him is the only real Joy that I have in my life! Family and friends come close, but He's the best! My father gave me the best example of how to be a dad and how to treat women. I'm a pretty decent dude that loves life!

I do work. I am looking for a friendship that could hopefully turn to something serious. I live a drama free stress free life. I will consider long distance relationships. I am ready to settle down and have my own man and my own family

I'm new to Lubbock and looking for smart and interesting men to help me get to know West Texas and environs. I'm an academic who likes to watch movies, spend time with my dog, cook, meditate, travel, dance, and, when I can afford it, fly airplanes.

I'm attracted to a zany sense of humor, social consciousness, and creativity. An English professor friend of mine suggested that I make it clear that no blaggards, cads or ne'er-do-wells need apply.

I'm just a real person that tries to live a normal life. I try to live drama free, and avoid such situations as much as possible. I love my job and my 2 girls, they are my life, but I'm looking to add more to that. I think I have a good sense of humor, I'm not too uptight, pretty laid back. Love music, will listen to anything live....that's all I can think of right now, I'm not too good at this type of thing, but ask anything and I'll share. :)

Ok the above statements are still true and we can consider that a summary, but it's been brought to my attention that my profile thus far doesn't say much about me sooo here is a second attempt:

I was born in Cali and moved around a lot when I was little, spent from 2-9th grade back in Cali then was dragged off to Oklahoma, (blah!) where I lived up until a year and a half ago when I moved to Lubbock for what had been my dream job for a few years. Yay me!

I am happily divorced, was married for 9yrs and have two beautiful daughters who are now 10 and 7. Don't do the math there, yes we were young, lol.

I am a proud OU fan who reserves the right to like Texas Tech as well, all my okie friends that have a prob w/it can kiss my ass, lol and well they don't really claim me yet here in Texas so I don't get too much grief for my okie ways.

Oh and real quick, I am not a spelling or grammar nazi and don't expect to be criticized for any wrong doing myself, I occasionally abbreviate things like u for you or i don't capitalize my I, so sue me, or don't like me because of it, w/e u choose is fine w/me. That being said I will try to type as I do at work, as I am not ignorant and do know these things.

My last two semesters in college were by far my best, scoring all A's and a B in one and the last one all A's not sure how I did that since by that time I was so burnt out I don't remember cracking a book.

Umm I can be a smart ass, sometimes on accident, most times on purpose. I genuinely do care about people though and I am also nice and helpful.

I have this thing where I don't like to call people...I don't want to interrupt whatever they may be doing just to talk to me.. On the other hand if they call me I will talk w/them for hours if they want.
