Lubbock High School Reviews

Lubbock High really does offer a truly diverse environment. Different student ethnicities allow students to learn not just about a set curriculum, but also about each others cultures and the world. The Pre-Advanced Placement, Advanced Placement, and International Baccalaureate classes are a challenge to the students who choose to work hard and strive to excel to their maximum potential. The teachers are well trained and have years of teaching experience. They know their subjects and are ready to help students be the best they can be. LHS is renowned for its academic achievements, and its top performance music program and ROTC, as well as the magnet school's athetic program which includes many different sports including dance and gymnatics, allows students to be well rounded and greatly prepared for college. Lubbock High simply sets students up for success.

I find Lubbock High School to be a diverse, well-rounded place of learning. The level of academic achievement is second to none on the South Plains and across Texas. This is a place where children achieve and thrive.
